Private Pool Villa, Tavira Island Area

A beautifully appointed three-bedroom holiday villa in the quieter eastern Algarve, set in established gardens with a large private heated pool. Tavira — widely considered the Algarve’s most beautiful town — is 12 minutes by car; the ferry to Tavira island beach is 10 minutes.

The Villa

Single-storey layout throughout. The living and dining room opens directly to the pool terrace via full-height sliding doors. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned doubles with fitted wardrobes; two have en-suite bathrooms.

The Area

The eastern Algarve around Tavira and the Ria Formosa natural park is far less developed than the central Algarve. This is traditional Portugal: tiled churches, fishing boats, and local restaurants that haven’t changed their menus in 30 years.

Rates

Peak (July–August): €3,200/week. Shoulder (May–June, September–October): €2,100/week. Off-peak: from €1,200/week. Minimum 7 nights in peak, 4 nights otherwise.
